Mirabolante, livros e ideias

Mirabolante was born in November 2024, created by Sílvia Laureano Costa, Bruno Rodrigues, and António Falcão to fill a long-standing gap: Odemira had no old-fashioned bookshop. On Praça Sousa Prado, in the heart of town, it is today much more than that — a bookshop-café where books share the space with organic coffee, a section made for younger readers, and a wall that doubles as a gallery for local artisans.

Guided by the idea that "to read is to resist," the founders are not in it for profit, but to open doors to reading, to culture, and to encounters between the many different people who live in Odemira today.

It is also the right place for book launches, talks, and literary gatherings. A place where life slows down and stories come alive, two steps from any door in town.
